Energy healing can amplify the progress you’re already making—whether it’s through talk therapy, lifestyle shifts, or your own spiritual practices. If you’re working with me (or another therapist), energy healing can be a powerful complement. Many of my clients notice:

When Talking Isn’t Enough—or Isn’t What You Need Today
Sometimes, you just don’t want to talk—but you do want to feel better. Energy healing can meet you there. It offers a non-verbal pathway for relief and insight that complements, or temporarily takes the place of, traditional talk therapy.
This field of healing is growing, with more research supporting its effectiveness each year. It’s not about magical thinking—it’s about restoring energetic flow in ways that can support your emotional and physical well-being.
My Training & Approach
I am a certified Brennan Healing Science Practitioner, having completed a 4-year intensive program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in 2016. This in-depth, hands-on training equips me with the skills to help clients shift patterns, reduce suffering, and access deeper healing.
I also received my Reiki I & II certification in 2005, and have continued to grow and refine my practice ever since.

Energy healing can help you anchor into the Self—your inner source of safety, wisdom, and compassion. From this grounded place, it becomes easier to witness and care for the more activated, overwhelmed, or wounded parts of yourself. Many clients experience:

What to Expect in a Session
Energy healing sessions begin and end with conversation, tailored to your needs.
In combined therapy & energy healing sessions, we may begin seated in dialogue and transition to the table for hands-on work as needed.
If you book a 90-minute session, energy healing is always included.
During the healing, you’ll remain fully clothed, lying comfortably on a massage table. Light touch is used, but if you’re not comfortable with touch, I can work entirely off the body. Your sense of safety and consent is always honoured.
Distance or In-Person Healing
Energy healing is available in-person in Hamilton or remotely through a secure video platform. Many clients find distance sessions to be just as effective as in-person work.
Insurance Coverage
If you’re receiving counselling and energy healing in a combined session, it may be covered under your Registered Social Worker (RSW) benefits.
To determine how your session will be invoiced:

If you’re primarily seeking counselling, the session will be billed as psychotherapy. Counselling sessions can include energy healing, but counselling is the focus.

If you’re primarily seeking energy healing, it will be invoiced as such.
All sessions involve some dialogue, but the focus will be energy healing. Some insurance companies will cover energy healing – ask yours!
